Re: Rear body mounts
Here's a link to a cab mounting kit for 55-59 cabs. This is the one I got to put my cab back on. It has bolt and nut sets for the fron and rear of the cab. When I first dis-assembled my truck this is what the factory set looked like.
I've had 2 different cabs at one time and neither one had caged nuts for the cab mounts. Kim http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=CMS5559 |

Re: Rear body mounts
That is the same kit I have, one bolt is broke off the other one just spins. Looks like I have some fab work ahead of me, the left side rocker panel is bent also. I was thinking of putting the tank under the bed, now might be a good time. Just don't want to tear it all apart summer is coming. Thanks for all the replies. Glenn.

Re: Rear body mounts
I found a photo that shows my 59 rear mount caged nut. Maybe they changed in 58?
