Rear shackle angle
I started installing my shackle flip and switch on a 71 1/2 ton from DIY4X, but I dont know what the shackle angle should be. Can anyone help out? Thanks JH

You want it to be close to vertical....but only when the entire "normal" weight of the truck is on it. You really can't do this with the bed off...

I agree with longhair. I had the same promblem with mine when I installed with the 8" lift rear springs and shackle flip on my project, It moved the rear axle foward and had to move the front hangers back to get my axle back to center of the wheelwell. Beware, also my frame was bigtime cracked where the rivets were.

Thanks guys! I am going to build the front hangers for the rear springs since it is a 2wd to 4wd convert, and the frame angles behind the cab. Plus I want them to match the look of the DIY4X rear hangers.
