Alan Grove alt and a/c brackets for small block

Alan Grove brackets for small block with no accessory holes in the front of the head. Worked for me very well, but no longer need with new big block. These use a short water pump and bolt to the water pump and front two intake bolts. I will also include the thermostat housing which is from a 1991 Caprice. It routes the hose behind the alternator just use a 1991 Caprice upper hose with your stock radiator. $50 plus shipping. Post in thread with ZIP for shipping cost. cornbread 67 has first shot.

I could use these on my 327 with headers, right?Did you run headers and that`s why you got them?

Yes, they will work with headers. And work fine with the OE power steering setup. I never used the A/C bracket, just the alternator.

Re: Alan Grove alt and a/c brackets for small block

Looks like I`ll finally have to meet you folks.I could have had later heads and was stuck on keeping the 327 look,so I swapped old-style 64cc heads. Then, realized the old-style Torker really wasn`t right for my use.I went with an air gap. So,now I feel dumb I did those heads. Thanks for saving me.I was thinking to fab something. Can I get them next week?I`m going out of town for Easter. If not I`ll send money along w/shipping to 21771 and insist we meet up sooner than later,or else....

Re: Alan Grove alt and a/c brackets for small block

I`m a bit confused here. Why post a thread for a part when someone else already has a claim on it?Aren`t all dealings to be made in the thread?
Wouldn`t the proper thing be to contact the guy and offer it to him, then if he didn`t want it list it?
I sure look dumb responding like I`m the first taker.
No hard feelings. But,this is really no way to list a sale.Others could react differently.

I stated it in the first post. If you read the last line it clearly states that Cornbread had first dibs. It was brought up in a different thread and I posted it here to keep to the rules of the board. Sorry if it was confusing.

Re: Alan Grove alt and a/c brackets for small block

I admit I overlooked the last line.I just don`t expect to see a part listed that`s spoken for.I guess I misunderstand the rules.I see he`s a new member and non-subscriber.I guess that has something to do with why you couldn`t just sell it to him.I didn`t read that thread, just the sale thread.Like I said,I`m over it.

This weekend was kinda busy with Easter and 4 kids, but I will get the brackets in a box and get a shipping quote tomorrow after work.
