Re: outside mirrors on a 68 lwb

i know that those mirrors were made for 88-98 chevys/gmcs, and 2nd gen S10's. get a template of you corner piece and compare to these trucks door mirror mount. they attach with 3 screws from the inside.

the angle of the windshield/door pillar is different on the 2nd gen s10 than our c10's

Re: outside mirrors on a 68 lwb

i agree with ya 67 sub. i was trying to give him direction about how to find out which mirror mounting bracket will best fit his application. i think the best thing to do is call the vendor that he bought the one-piece kit from and maybe they can better guide him. the street scene mirrors were made for astros, full size and S10's. and maybe some others too.

Re: outside mirrors on a 68 lwb

Okay, I just have to say, those are definately bolt on high beams, you can tell by how they are adjusted so high up...The only way to get a set that nice would involve alot of $$$, dollar bills will not get you a set, maybe the shop will let you "play"with them, but to run those you need a good job, lots O' cash, and be aware people will always be trying to touch them while you are not looking. I wish I had a pair to use sometimes?
