Truck Worth It?
I've stumbled across a '68 stepside. Original 250 straight six, runs. Saginaw 3 speed, floor shifter. Paint has a lot of bad scratches, but the frame is straight and body has no dents. Interior is very good but the steering wheel is missing (no biggie). Is it worth $1800???
 If I dont buy it, I will ask the guy if I can post his phone # or addy here to see if you guys want it. The man is pretty old, 85 or so and wants to get rid of it, will let you guys know.

If there isn't much rust and has a few options, then it should be worth it if it runs/drives. Maybe you should lowball him a bit, say $1300 or $1500. Also, if it is a long or short bed may influence your decision, but I think that comes down to preference. But having a shortbed will prolly give it a higher resale.
