Made a little progress today too
Well I finally did it. I decided last week to pull the diesel out of the 72. Spent a few hours here and there this past week and today and had the motor swinging. Now I just have to pull the 350 out of the donor truck.

Doug,
There was never a factory diesel in 67-72 trucks (at least not the light duty ones, which is what everyone here has). I think the diesel 72 custom camper is talkin about came from a late 70's/80's truck. Engines available in 67-72 trucks were: 230 (I6), 250 (I6), 292 (I6), 305 (V6, GMC only), 283 (V8), 307 (V8), 327 (V8), 350 (V8), 396 (V8, BB) and 402 (V8, BB). I think thats all of 'em.

Hey Doug, my uncle installed the diesel from an 84 Blazer a few years ago.

69GMC...the 230 inline wasn't in the 67 - 72's, and the GMC trucks also had an optional 351 V-6 in them.
