Driprails............
What exactly do you do to the driprail when restoring? Do you caulk it or what? I am getting ready to start removing the rusted areas around the sides of the cab on the driprails, but I am unsure of the steps I need to be taking......I guess you could say I'm running blind.
Thanks, Greg |

Re: Driprails............
you can search, and you can also visit your local paint supply store. Wire wheel the drip rails really good, take care of any rust issues at the seams. you will want to use a good self-leveling seam sealer. you can post in the paint and body section, or ask your local supplier as i have seen some ppl put the seam sealer directly on cleaned bare metal, and i have seen some ppl epoxy prime, then apply the sealer, then paint body color.
