'60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
'60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat for a low hump...automatic or column shift truck. New, still in box...never installed. I bought for a 4-5-6 Chevy truck and realized they are different than the '60-'63 rubber floor mat. $100.00 packaged and shipped, via UPS, Ground.
Please let me know if I can help you with this item or other 4-5-6 Chevy truck parts in the future. Last edited by LILRED66; 11-11-2008 at 02:57 AM. |

Re: '60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
Tony, That does not look like it would fit my 1962 cab. Here are a few pics. This is the low hump. You can see were I drilled out the spot welds to remove the big hump after I found the low hump and of course after I had the bottom of the cab powder coated. I wonder if that is 55-59?

Re: '60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
According to the label on the box and the seller, it is specific to the '60-'63 low hump cabs. I have had a number of '60-'66 Chevy trucks, both high hump and low hump and I have never seen one that looks quite like yours, so I don't have a good answer to your question. The hump contour on the mat looks rounded and symetric in the photo, so I quess I need to drop it in a cab and see how it fits. Thanks for the heads up.

Mylanta...I thought this thing would sell. Any takers? It would make a great Christmas gift, but to big to fit in a stocking, so you would have to put it under the tree.
Happy Holidays. |

Re: '60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
I bought this mat from a fellow at a Swap Meet in Mackungie, PA in June, 2007. He told me it was an NOS part, so I bought it. I had a '63 Chevy C10 swb fleetside that I was going to put it in, but I sold the truck to fellow member 283man here on the site, so I don't need it anymore.

Re: '60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
Tony, I have a couple questions.
I'm guessing I have a low hump, correct. Not a good picture, If you need another one let me know. And how does the mat fit? How much area will be covered? all the way to the gas tank? Thanks, David

Re: '60-'63 Chevy/GMC rubber floor mat-low hump
David:
Thanks for the inquiry. You have a low hump. This mat fits your truck. The factory/reproduction rubber floor mats only go to the bump in the floorboard, below the front lip of the factory bench seat. I am not aware of a reproduction rubber floor mat that goes to the gas tank. I know the reproduction carpets go all the way to the gas tank. Let me know if I can help you with this item or other 4-5-6 Chevy truck parts in the future. |
