Spot next to ignition

Hello,

I searched all over this website for a picture of the dash and it is never shown . My dash on the 6Duece is all perfect other than needing to replace the heater control levers and knobs however i am missing one thing. What goes in the spot directly to the right of the ignition switch? It just has a hole there and like a black bushing of some sort. I was thinking it was either the lighter or ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Spot next to ignition

I believe the early dash is similar to the later dash....so yes, cig lighter.

I think he is trying to make us think his truck is so fast that passengers aren't able to reach up and grab it.........

Re: Spot next to ignition

Thanks guys i was looking in my original owners manual that i happened upon in the glove box and noticed that the spot on the 1962 C10 next to the ignition is yes indeed the cig lighter. They happen to sell them on paddock so that all good. Thanks again you guys are the best!

Re: Spot next to ignition

The factory horn button location on the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks is on the steering wheel, so you have a little customizing done on your horn button.
