Question What would you pay?

Here is a 65 3/4t that will be going up for auction in a couple of weeks. I am very interested in it. It has very little rust, has a 292 in it, has head rests on the back of the seats(was this an option?), has a tissue holder mounted under the dash, and only 57,000 mi. Auctioneer says it will be running by auction time.

Look at the pics and tell me what you think it may go for, or what you would be willing to pay.

Of course,Value is in the eye of the beholder. The condition of the fender is a tale-tale sign as the cowls and rockers probably not far behind. Also check the hood, front inside lip and the core support, where it connects to the frame. (between the rad and grill)And under the batt. box. This should give you a good indication of what the rust has gotten to.
I paid $800 for mine, about the same condition. It had $1700 of reciepts for new parts but still has a long way to go.It,s not for the money but the love and at times lack of better judgement (lol) that keeps me going with mine.
I hope this helps a little.
P.S. Keep us posted, (i sure like that 292)

As for the headrest,Well,a gun rack was more likely to have been an option.

Yes I was corrected in the post I made on the 67-72 board about the engine size. The assumption was mine and I was wrong. I just thought w/ a 3/4t it would have the 292. I also couldnt remember where the fuel pump had to be that determined a 292.
