my 72 has a chrome bumper with the same brackets and looks the same, will it fit on my truck i wana go chrome but dont wanna take it off and it not fit lol thanks

Yes it will bolt on and fit fine, but GMCs do have notches in the top for the turn signals, so it will look a little different if it's truly a GMC bumper.

thanks, idk if mines gotta cut out for turn signals or not lol im eatin bout to go out and work on the ol girl, thanks for the reply

could i put my turn signals in the gmc bumper?

You would need turn signals that matched the bumper.

If you are asking if the ones in the bumper can be hooked up, yes no problem.

Years ago I saw a couple of earlier trucks with the 71/72 bumpers with fog or driving lights in the bumper.

The GMC bumpers don't have holes in them for a turn signal lamp, just notches in the top. The turn signals mount in the lower corners of the grille on GMCs.

nope lol, its not on yet, its sitting in the yard getting rained on, im painting the front grill and its still in primer, waiting for nicer weather to spray blue lol i'll have pix of everything when im thru
