Paint is Done!!!!!

Paint is finally done!!!! Now I can start getting her back on the road soon. Here is a reminder of what I started out with a 71 GMC Custom LWB and a 67 Chevy SWB. Both have been sacrificed to make one great truck out of a dead chevy and a beatup GMC.

Before

AND THIS

Now she looks like this a 67 GMC SWB. The color is a 2005 LeMans Blue off of a Corvette. Would have had the powertrain in but found out the crank was bad in it. This gave me the excuse to get a little more power. The 383 should be ready by the end of next week hopefully. Other plans are Tach dash, Vintage Air, some one off billit pieces from board members, and a NOS bench seat cover, and spray in bed liner. First drive is set hopefully by the end of May. Let me know what you guys think.

Re: Paint is Done!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone the color is darker out of the lights of the paint booth. I am hoping the 6 week window will be enough if not it should be shortly after that there are 5 of us total trying to get this thing back together. The motor was a real downer since the cost of rebuilding it is about the same as the pro-charger I had for the sb. Look for it on the parts board soon
