Need help!

Ok I just installed a turbo 350 longtail trans in my truck. I was told that it was a 3/4 ton trans. Being that I swapped frames on my truck from LWB to SWB I had to get a new driveshaft. The guy I got the shaft from said it was hooked up to a turbo 350 w/ 12 bolt factory rear, which is exactly what I have. The length is perfect but the yoke will not go onto the tailshaft! Is there a difference between 3/4 and 1/2 ton turbo 350's? Do they make a u joint that will allow my larger yoke(fits my trans but not my driveshaft)with larger u joint cap holes fit my driveshaft with smaller cap holes for the u joint?
Any comments or part numbers would be appreicated.

Re: Need help!

I've been to the parts store. The u joints they offer have the same size caps, I need large caps on two sides then smaller caps on the other two sides.

Re: Need help!

Good parts store (CARQUEST) can get you the correct u-joint. Lil more I think about $20. Just requires some measuring and a bit of knowledge some special ordering. good Luck.
