Show your rust!
Not all of us have show trucks.
Some of us have problems. So come together and take pride in that oxidization. Show off what time and mothr nature have done to your ride. Don't be shy, don't be scared. Think of it as "i'll show you mine if you show me yours!" Remember, it's only original once.

Re: Show your rust!
Yeah... Pick any truck older than 10 years where i live. The GMC has plenty, haven't even pulled the mats on the kick panel....
Really need some doors.... Wheels are replaced, but the bed needs some blasting.... oh those doors... I have some rot on the driver side rocker, floor is solid.... Texas guys need not apply.

Looks can be deceiving. The 1st pic is the teardown day.
This is after blasting

Re: Show your rust!
The only real rust I could find was just in the doors, guess I got lucky:

Re: Show your rust!
I know the '60-'66 Chevy trucks have their short-comings when it comes to problems areas with rust, but I have seen all models of trucks that are less than 10 years old with as much or more rust. I have done my share of rust repairs on my 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, as well as ohter's and I must say they hand in there pretty good for 44+ years of use and wear. I have lots of trucks with lots of rust issues, but I thought I would keep them to myself and enjoy looking at everyone else's cancer photos.

Re: Show your rust!
Heres my hood. I'm so glad I found one that wasn't as bad. This is all the way across the bottom.
