i know black is the best clean up.But i owned a black corvette once and it was so hard to keep up with it..no lie i remember while i was waxing the vett i was also srcatching it too.

One more stepside, soon i will put the 10 inch wide old western wheels back on now that i had them refinished.

I wouldn't want to put the snaps in the bed either. I hate to see holse drilled into a perfectly good bed. That and I would always want to show off that pretty wood bed.

yea im not happy about those snaps either,it was done long befor i got it and one day they will be gone

I already have holes. The PO added a real PIA by taking out the snaps and loading each hole up with clear silicone. Yetch...So I'm thinking about a cover. I can't find one that fits our trucks. Did you have yours made up?

No that cover was already on the truck when i got it, the truck came out of california, i like the look but like you i hate the snaps on the body, but i think it's been on their a long time. sorry i am no help. joe

Here is a pic of my 74. I was riding at a local motocross track and X-racer Jeff Emig (now commentating for Speed Channel and CBS Sports) came over and ask if he could use the truck for a photo shoot for Fox clothing. Here is one of the pics. That's Jeff in the back of the truck and the girls are Fox models.

I will post more pics smoke_dog. Right now the truck is all apart. I am replacing floors and rockers. I went to redo the interior and when I pulled up the floor mats to put in carpet I found some rust.
