How wide can i go
I want to fitt the widest rims to the rear of my 63 longbed fleetside truck without narrowing the chassis, i think i might get away with 10" but can i fitt 12". Any Pictures would be good.
Thanks Darrron , England. |

Re: How wide can i go
FYI I had some 16x8 reverse offset
(deep dish) wire wheels with 225/55r16 , I tried them on my 60 longbed fleet, and they rubbed big time . cheers from this side of the pond

Re: How wide can i go
A 10 inch wide wheel with the correct back spacing and a 275/60R15 tire should fit with little to no massaging of the inside fender lip.
However if you are willing to widen the inner wheel wells, you can fit a 12 inch wide wheel with the proper backspacing and a 29x15.50-15 tire
