Stepside Bed Question
Do most people use the rubber seals between the bedsides and the fenders? Or can I get by without it??

Re: Stepside Bed Question
I talked to several people including Kenny's who I bought my fender from. They said not to use those seals that they tend to trap moisture. I didn't put one on and obviously can't tell any difference.

Re: Stepside Bed Question
Here's what I used on mine. It is very flexible and will flatten out as the fender bolts are tightened. One box is more than enough to do both sides.

Re: Stepside Bed Question
I used the strip caulk and it works great. You will have to scrape off the material the extrudes from under the flange but that is to be expected. If you are going to drive in the rain and muck like a real truck...I would undercoat the inside of the fenders and make sure you hand seal that joint since your tires will be pounding that moisture and sand into the joint. Just my 0.02! Good luck1
