Was wanting to know if the short stepper boxes are interchangeable from 67-72 models to the 62-66 models. Know the fenders are different but what about the boxes? Tailgates are the same.

I just looked at my LMC reference catalogs and some numbers for the parts are the same. I know the tail gate from a '62 fits my '68 bed.

My son picked up a frame recently from a '64 and took measurements and they match the ones on our '67-'72 years except for the the front frame horns so I figure the beds will from year to year will fit.

Here is a picture of the '62 tail gate on the '68 bed I bought a while back to put on my '67 project truck. The truck in the picture is not mine unfortunately.

That is a nice lookin ride. Was wondering if the fender holes and the bed side holes are the same? I know the fenders are of different shape.
