Drip rail trim
Does anyone have the stainless drip rail trim on their truck. If so is it worth it? Does it stay in place? I've seem a couple in pictures, but never in person. Was it actually an option back in the day or an add on accessory? I'm thinking of getting this for my truck, but if it will give me a lot of problems, I'll pass. Any insight? Cnut

Re: Drip rail trim
i have a set of the originals, i don't know if they were an option, or what.
the truck they came from, had stainless rivets holding them on. i have heard that the aftermarket stuff does not fit very well, or stay on too good either. I got them from a board member that was parting a truck. I haven't installed them yet. its gonna be a while before i can get my truck painted and put back together, so i cant say if they will actually fit my cab yet or not. i have heard that there is a lot of difference in the finished size of the drip rail from truck to truck. I have no way to verify that though. maybe some one will chime in with some better info for you, any way, ttt for ya Tony
