Can't find parts?

You guys have got to help me. I can't find a set of fender emblems for a GMC high sierra or sierra 35. You know the metal ones on the front fenders. I've emailed junk yards and searched ebay, I've called GM and I've checked every truck restoration catalog I can find? Do you guys have any ideas where I can find a set. And why are they so hard to find? Didn't GM make more than a few one ton sierra's????

Re: Can't find parts?

the fenders on your truck are the same for 81 -90 or 81-87 if its a std cab. check craigslist in your area some one is parting out a truck with fenders on it I have 7,8 sets piled up out back that will fit your truck

just a heads up I don't know how long youve owned your truck but the crew cabs and suburbans from 88 -91 are cross over years (old body style)

Re: Can't find parts?

They're just harder to find because 3/4 and 1 ton trucks have to be TOTALLY trashed inside and out before people junk them while the 1/2 tons get junked a lot of times way before they're really a lost cause.

Here's one...

Re: Can't find parts?

No aftermarket companies make new GMC ones, they only reproduce the Chevy ones, and mainly only 1/2 ton stuff. Mine emblems were in pretty good condition, I just found paint and repainted the painted parts.

Re: Can't find parts?

I didn't find any GMC emblems while looking. I did find some NOS Scottsdale 30 emblems.
