Re: 72 Sub on ebay... 60k invested.
Pretty nice custom. But I think they were pretty careless with the body and paint, you'd think they would have removed the glove box button before they painted it, and done something with the holes above the ignition. Plus, weld up the "Four Wheel Drive" emblem holes on the fender.
Betcha it looks great from 10 or 20 feet away, but just from what I saw in the pics I bet the body and paint suck. Everything else looks pretty good, but I'm not sure about the core support color...

Somebody got seriously ripped off!!! There's nothing special about that truck at all.

The burb still looked like it should go for more. That's discouraging to potential sellers.
Depressed economy? Bad color choice besides any paint issues? Good engine option but poor engine shape internally? Is it just a good time to buy with only these kind of offers possible?

Re: 72 Sub on ebay... 60k invested.
maybe nothing special, but when you pay a shop to do the work 50-100 per hour depending on your location, cost can get expensive. Just because you can do the work on your own truck, doesn't mean the next guy can, or wants to. I do find it odd that they could not install the cid fender badges and ignition badge before listing it, seems careless to leave off something so trivial.

Re: 72 Sub on ebay... 60k invested.
My point exactly on the little stuff. If I spent 60k, I'd be pretty pissed if my truck were missing something as simple as bumper bolts. Makes you wonder what else they short cutted.
