50th Long Fleetside Bed in Seattle

50th Long Fleetside Bed in Seattle.
Mild surface rust...absolutely no rust through.
Skirt portion on LH front has been bent but the metal doesn’t appear to have been stretched.
There’s also a series of four shallow walnut-size indentations on the same side and one on the top right rear corner.
The inside of the bed is very nice with a straight head panel and nice wheel housings. Bed floor is quite straight.

Local pickup only. $250.

I need the drivers side bed trim, just under the side light, if you are willing to part.

Just checked and the one on April is smooshed. If someone buys the bed and doesn't want the mouldings, I'll let you know.

Re: 50th Long Fleetside Bed in Seattle

Like I said...usable...included free with purchase of the bed.

Bowed a tad, dent in bottom of V, one boof on the top.
The latch seems fine, no rust through on the bottom and
the hinge cups are ugly but sound.

Oh, and also the PO had to secure his canope door so,
of course, they drilled all the way through the bugger.

hehe--just kidd'n Mike. Swapped a truck for that and a few other things.

Totally skipped my mind to offer it up to the local 50th Anniversary Museum...

Re: 50th Long Fleetside Bed in Seattle

i might be interested in just the floor and tubs and head panel if you want to seperate. I might be able to convince my bro inlaw, that we need to take a road trip.

Unfortunately, I have neither a place to take the thing apart, a place to store the leftover bedsides ... nor the time to do it.

Maybe you could strap the whole thing to your rig and take it home all together? You could call it NW Canope.

Re: 50th Long Fleetside Bed in Seattle

I don't think i would be allowed to slid it on to the back of anybodys truck i know...(their trucks are to new).......but i might be able to steal my bosses truck and maybe steal my bro inlaws trailer...would it be possible to get some pics of the deck where the header panel mounts and where the box sides meet the deck...( i know i'am being a pain for something that is that cheap ,but it's a bit of a drive....and would rather see it now before i say anything)

POWERBENCH—hoping in the next week; hence the price.
amcnut69—if the new owner of the bed doesn’t want it, just have the gate in post #11 for $50.
