New guy with a old 66
Found it languishing on ebay with 0 bids and only an hour away. It's been sitting in a Tobacco Barn for quite a while. New points and condenser and she fired right up. The usual rust in the rockers and outside portions of the floor pan, not a problem. $1200. Not the deal of the century, but better than I've seen locally. |

Re: New guy with a old 66
It's been home for a week....I had to trailer it home. Didn't want to take the chance of anything going wrong on the way.
It's a heavy beast. Broke my friend's ramps and we had to drive it onto the trailer using a ditch. I'm not going for any wild custom mods or anything. I'll use it as a truck and keep it stock. |

It's been repainted sometime in the past, same original colors, light green and ivory. I compounded and waxed the areas that are pretty decent, so it doesn't look like a total heap until I can address the problem areas. |

Re: New guy with a old 66
Pics, as promised. Like I said before, it'll need rockers, and floor board sections. Add to that fender patches and inner fenders, and who knows what else!
