Question dash lights

I need to know if I can change my dash lights to a red I painted all the inside green white. All I want is the red bulb to get a redish color if I can get them red were at. thanks

The red bulbs are not very bright. Just so you know.
You would be better off painting the area that was green Floresent Orange or Red

I like to use 168 lamps in place of the 194 for dash gauge lamps.... the 168's are 3 C.P. and the 194's are 2 C.P.; so the 168's are about 1/3 brighter....If too bright; you can dim them to suit. The 168's work fine for the clearance lites also........ Jim
