My truck bauging out. I start the truck up drive it down the road maybe a mile. Then it just baugs out and dies. Then it takes a few minutes to get it started again. I checked the fuel pump and carb they both seem to be working fine. Please help if you know what is going on with this. Thanks

I had this problem a couple weeks ago..I have the blazer gas tank under the bed and it was brand new when i bought it, so the tank was a little dirty. I would start the truck, give it a little throttle and it would just bog out and die, than i would park it for about ten minutes and it would start right up. I checked the FUEL FILTER NOT THE FUEL PUMP!!!!!!! and it was real dirty so I replaced it and have never had another problem...

Hope this helps

Jason

I made the mistake of starting at the carb and replacing things back.......

Only to find out that one of the rubber fuel lines had calapsed inside......replaced those and rolled right along..................

Hose is cheap..............
