Airride, C-notch and exhaust over the axle, pics.
I have done the frame swap of my 72 GMC to a 71 Chevy frame as well as installed a C-notch and Slam RE-7's, and the exhaust guy was able to get the pipes past the rearend and out the back.

More pics. I am so happy that he was able get it all the way out the back. I don't like the idea of the dump in front of the axle.

Re: Airride, C-notch and exhaust over the axle, pics.
that is a nice setup that uncongests things inside the frame. did you go thru the frame just past the trailing arm crossmember to get outside the frame (if so how). got any pics of that. i have seen a similar setup but they went thru the frame just before the trans crossmember and went all the way back from there. like the the stance of that longbed too...nice ride.

Yep, I drilled the 4" holes in the carrier bearing crossmember so that the exhaust would go thru.

Nice work. I've often wondered if this was possible? What mufflers are you running? Love the GMC!

Pypes M-80's 4" diameter, 2 1/2" in and out. Tucked right next to the air tanks. Kinda have that cackling glass pack sound though. I might turn them around. I have heard that will stop the popping noise. Thanks for the compliments guys!!

I cant tell from your pic but after you went through the carrier bearing crossmember does it go through the frame rail or over the top of it between the bed and frame?

How much side-to-side movement do you get with that short track bar? It looks like the angle is really severe.

Here's a link to some pics of it layed out.
GBC10- I went up over the frame rail under the front part of the bed where there is about a 4" gap.
