Front cab supports are shot.
I'm the new guy here. Hope some of you can help me out. What is the best and easiest way to replace the front cab support braces? Give me some where to start. Thanks

Re: Front cab supports are shot.
i air chisled mine off.. they are easy to replace.. just you will need to get new cab mount bolts.. because if your support is shot i bet your mount is in need of care... there is spot welds you can drill out or just be like me and air chisel them out.. it took me a good half day to do both.. then they just slide in and weld to the floor and inner rocker...

Re: Front cab supports are shot.
Do I have to remove the front sheet metal to jack up the cab? Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Front cab supports are shot.
sheet metal? you talking about fenders? i didnt what jim said.. took the mounts out..stuck a 2x4 on the jack on its side.. jacked it up til the jack would go no more then went to work with air chisel... be careful if u air chisel.. i came through the floor so i put a new floor piece in around where the bolt goes through
