does anyone know the paint code or name of the color used on the NP205 transfer cases ? I know it is supposed to be a reddish-orange color because there is still some original paint on mine. Does anyone know of a VHT, dupli-color, PPG, Dupont, etc. code that may match ?

rustoleum rusty metal primer is a nearly perfect match

I used the chrysler red on mine just for the gloss factor, but the correct color is the red primer flat.

This is what the rustoleum red primer looks like I used, also sprayed a clear over it to give it a little better seal and a little shine,
