New '66 owner as of yesterday
I had a '56 F100 years ago and have regretted selling it everyday. So I got the opportunity to pick up another classic truck yesterday and couldn't wait to get it home.
Picked up this '66 C-20 for $3000. It has a crate GM 350 engine with an unknown 350 transmission. Amateur paint that looks great at twenty feet. Very little rust, straight body, great glass. It runs great and drives smoothly, you can't help but grin as you pass all the other drivers stuck in their cookie cutter cars. It needs a few things but not anything that keeps it off the road. My first step though is to replace the front manual brakes with large discs with the 8-lug pattern, if I can find the correct donor. I have been reading alot here and appreciate all the help and info you guys offer. |

I forgot the image. There was condensation on the glass this morning when I took this picture.
