New member needs a little advice

Got my hands on a 75 Chevy 4X4 and want to put a 292 that I had in a van into the pickup, it had a 350 in it that I pulled already but the Im not sure what mount to use. The van frame mounts dont bolt up to the frame of the pickup, so for any ideas as to what passenger mount I should get and maybe where.

Re: New member needs a little advice

wondering if I could relocate my passenger side bracket forward a couple of inches to fit the 292 in?

I think the brackets for the 350 should work with the 292, not sure but I know the motor mounts are the same

Re: New member needs a little advice

Mounts look like they'd work if the frame bracket on passenger side was moved forward 2 inches.

Re: New member needs a little advice

I figured someone on here musta put a 292 in a 75 4X4 and would know the procedure, but it really looks like a simle mod to the frame bracket would do the trick.
