Help ESP Carb owners gotta ?

I have a 1407 Edelbrock carburetor. It was okay but I thought it needed rebuilt. Never rebuilt one till now and it was supper easy. Only thing is I couldn't get the linkage on the passenger side of the carburetor back in the right order. I took it off and it flew 900 mph in into my thumb and lodged it in there (sucked).

Does anybody have or can get some close up pictures of how this goes back together or is setup. I have messed with this carburetor 2 days just trying to get the linkage right. Looked all over for good close up pictures and found none. The pieces I'm talking -- spring, smaller inner piece, bigger outer piece, and the curved rod that connects the primary and secondary linkage together. Everything else to rebuild was a very very easy. I can hear the carburetor actually sucking now and its very responsive tach jumps at will real easy to 6,000.

BTW: Does anybody have a major problem with throwing and twisting the altenator belts?

Belts really fly off at 6000 RPMs if the pulleys are not aligned properly or warped. What type of belts are you using? I like to use the ribbed type for the underside. I've never had a problem with them flying off. But once they are worn out, they sure do tear up fairly easy.
How fast do you need pictures? I have a 1406 but I can't down load pics off my camera at home. My computer has some com port issues I need to address.

Checkout the www.edelbrock.com website.

I still have the stock v belt setup. Would like to get a serpentine (sp?) system tho. Main thing it likes to do it turn the belt inside out or sideways. It lines up real good, belts have plenty of tention. I just think heard what my 350 should sound like and got scared lol...

Thanks for the links I already checked there, I also looked on the rebuild kit I got and it has a nice picture (of the front) but didnt really show the passenger side and how the spring is supposed to go. The inner and outer pieces only go one way and the inner has 2 but I have spent the better part of 2 days finding this out.

Carb linkage doesnt spring back like it should and the secondaries dont open. I was even trying to make sure to remember how that part went and next thing I know when taking it off is it stabbing me. Im sure its real simple to fix but Im just not looking at it right or something.

Not really in a real big rush on the pictures but sooner the better.

Thanks for your help. Im alot better at hands on things than reading then most the time but if some one knows how the spring and other pieces go I'm willing to listen.

Should the secondairies flap be open even the slightest bit? I can move them and change the idle.
