th 350 guys

my th350 hasnt been shift ing into second with the authority it use to so pulled the pan an valve body last nite at work, 1st to 2nd use to chirp a bit so I figured someone had put a shift kit in it, but all I found was just a bolt an washer, no colored spring what does that mean???

thats what im thinkin backyard joe didn't want to buy a true shift kit so he did the next best thing!!!!!!! I'm getting a "clang" noise going into 2nd when under hard acceleration, other than that it shifts fine!!! 2nd use to chirp the tires but stopped doing it a while ago!!!!

kinda sounds like mabey the 2nd gear band is shot.... for me thats a hard one to tell without being there but it kinda sounds like time for a rebuild
