Bingo, mine always clicked around corners, changed the fluid and added some GM Limited Slip Axle Additive (#1052358) and no more clicky. I'm sure any brand works but I happen to work at a dealership, employee discount ftw.

An old mechanic friend of mine called it "fish oil", and it was from GM. I think fish oil smells better then the additive, but the GM stuff works really good.

The rear I had the posi in was an 8.2, 10 bolt. I yhink it's a 2 serries carrier. Does anyone have any other info about this old thing?

Cuz it used to be made outta whale oil years ago or so I was told by another old tech. No idea what's in it now.

That was in the '70's.

Used to use that stuff in Saragossa.

Or was it Sarasota?

It came in a bottle...

Maybe it was a tall bottle.

Or was it a can?
