Share some pics; my C20 build
Just wanted to share some pictures of my build. Here is what I have so far: '91 Suburban front crossmember, all new brake components, steering linkage and steering box, all stainless brake lines, 2" drop front and rear, and complete rear suspension rebuild. I am waiting on my fuelcell from fuelcellguy, crate 350 and the tranny rebuild before sheetmetal.

And more.
Some of these pics show how I routed the brake lines in the front. I hope this helps someone. I think the name for my build should be FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE! Lane |

Re: Share some pics; my C20 build
question: In the third picture, there are braces that run from the frame to the crossmember where the driveshaft run through. (bottom right of the photo)
Are these only on C-20s? I do not recall seeing these before. Thanks J

Re: Share some pics; my C20 build
I am not quite sure. The last C10 I owned was in '91 and I didn't get this deep into it. This truck was a camper special if that helps.

Re: Share some pics; my C20 build
Looks good. I think the C-20s are the only ones that had those braces.

Re: Share some pics; my C20 build
Thanks for the compliments. Its nice to know that other people like your work. I have a question, when you use a fuel cell are you using an inline fuel pump or the one on the engine? I was thinking of installing an inline fuel filter and this would be an easy add-on if that is the way to go. Thanks for your imput, Lane
