Can I remove the AC box and retain my heat?
My truck is missing everything for the AC other than the box on the firewall and the controls in the cab. The truck also has a newer engine in it with the alternator on the passenger side. Thinking about removing the box to clean up my firewall and I'm curious if that kills my heat somehow.

www.acdelete.com has what you need to retain your heat. A little expensive but cleans up the engine bay real good.

I'm sure if you had a sheetmetal brake and a little time you could get it done. I don't think I've seen one done yet though.
