Rear rims put on

Well got my tires put on the rims today and put on the truck.Decided to ditch the 295/50/15 and put bigger rubber on.The rims are 10x15 with 5" backspacing and the tires are 345/55/15 so they are quite huge. Hope that can still lower it a couple inches without the tires rubbing. Will update pictures next weekend when i get the front ones installed

Re: Rear rims put on

345/45/15? What kind of tire is it?

How close is it to the inside? Could you possibly take some pics or measurements to see how much room you have on the outside and how much it "balloons" out?

Looks real good from here by the way.

Re: Rear rims put on

Tread pattern looks like a BFG Drag Radial or the old Sport Truck TA. Looks mean with them on it . Post more pics now , then when you get the fronts on , post more pics . Yep , more pics , that should do it .

Re: Rear rims put on

After looking at it again. I think they are the BFG drag radials.

Re: Rear rims put on

Yes they are BFG drag radials. It wont get that many miles put on it and when i seen them i had to have them just hope I dont get caught in the rain thats all.I already have a set of 255/60 or 255/70 for the front , think i am going to go with the 255 so the height is close to the same. There is still a good 3-4 inches before it hits the spring on the inside and the tire does balloon a little , certainly would not want to put a bigger tire on an 10 inch rim for sure.Won,t have a chance to dig it back out of the garage for more pics Frank but will for sure next weekend

Re: Rear rims put on

they are the same tires that were on the rallies 255/70 . There is quite a few inches of space between the tire and fender lip but they do look big maybe it,s the picture angle

Re: Rear rims put on

I think you need to lower it more than a little.
But really it is looking good.
