need info on putting a 17 in wheel on a 16 in wheel truck ?

i have a 02 chevy 2wd and thinking of putting some 17 in after market wheels on it . will it mess up the computer or speed omter? thanks for any help.

If you shop your wheel and tire size, you can probably find a combo that will give you the same height as the tire/16's wheel you already have.

Use this

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

and it'll give you an idea if you need to have the dealer recalculate it or not.

thats what i did . my 60 series tires are the same diameter as my stock 16" tires were. i have 255/60/17 on the front and 285/60/17 on the rear . 2000 GMC lowered 4" front 6" rear
