I can remember .23 cent a gallon gas as a NORM and the gas wars taking it down to .15 cent a gallon. We had a lot of stations just like that, with the old styl lube lifts on the outside and some with the open pits in the floor that a vehicle was driven over so that service work could be done. If nothing else the "COLD" chest type pop coolers inside with the bottles in ice water.

We have not gained anything with our advances in the world--if one were to look back to the Good times....
