Unhappy trouble shooting elec.

Recently i installed a reman starter/solenoid combo. Have the wires attached
correctly (3) wires. When i turn the key i don't hear anything. Could this be
an ignition problem. The battery is fully charged. please advise

thanks

Re: trouble shooting elec.

check with a multimeter your positive terminals for power...
if they both get power twhen they are supposed to then the starter is bad..
it is highly unliely you messed up anything after replacing the starter..
especially if you disconnected the battery as required...

Re: trouble shooting elec.

Standard shift trans? maybe bad clutch safety switch.
Auto trans, bad neutral safety switch.

Re: trouble shooting elec.

sounds to me like you have your solenoid wire on the wrong terminal...
