cage or no cage
 Here is my blazer and I am thinking of putting in a cage, We do light trails with the kids, so I would feel alot better knowing that we are protected. At the same time I dont do anything that would even remotely get us into a roll/tip situation. My main reason is so that I can throw a bikini top on it and get some shade for me and the kids while out driving and trail riding. The wife hates the idea of a cage and says it will totally kill the value if I ever want to sell it, Pretty unlikely that i will. I was just wondering what your guys thoughts were on it and any ideas for the bikini top?

A factory roll bar can always simply un bolt but it would probally look better without

Nice K5! I think it would look even better with a cage. I agree with VT, and safety first. You never know when a rollover can happen. Could even be a sunday drive down the freeway.

Such a beautiful K5. I don't think a cage will kill the value but I wouldn't go overkill with the cage. Have it designed properly by someone who knows what they are doing - it can be made right and still not hurt the appearance.
As far as a bikini top - here is a classified ad I have for custom made bikini tops - on the last page is a valid link for the order info.

I agree, they look better without....but I just built one because I have a little one riding in the back. Safety first.

I would do a roll bar. Still ups the safety aspect, while not as overwhelming ascetically as a full cage.
