FS Doug Thorleys Tri Y's Headers for 402BB Part # DTE-303y
I have decided to go back to my stock manifolds and thus...I am selling my headers. These are for a 402BB with ac and automatic. These new from Thorlely are about $600 ( I called yesterday and got a quote) and from Summitt I am esimating about $480-$500. I called them yesterday and they don't have these listed in their catalogs. These are about 4 years old and do have surface rust. These would be great on a rat rod or your DD or one could have these ceramic coated for about $125. My price $150 paypal (I'd rather not use paypal but will) or $125 cash or check. Yes there are cheaper headers out there but those who know header design will know these are one of the best headers designed that are avaliable for our trucks. Sorry...I don't have pics but just picture these on your trucks.
 That is picture enough.  Oh yes...shipping is added on to this blue lite special.

Your ad says your price is $150 paypal. Is that what you are asking for the headers ? Wasnt sure since you were talking about ceramic coating. Very interested, could you post pics? Do they hand down below the frame, work on a 454? Price with shipping to 27587 please. Thanks--Josh

How bad is the rust and any other issues. Any speed bump rash? HaHa!
I will take them pending reply info. Oh, do you remember how far back they end up under the truck? Are they too long to work on a 4wd? (too close to transfer case) Thanks, Scott |

Surface rust and Henry said he was able to clean these up (He was going to sell these for me-but I changed my mind and put them here)
Road rash-none that I know off. These on;y have less than 1000 miles of use. 4x4 application-don't know. I will try and get pics but it will take a day or two. 1972SuperCheyenne...1st in line. I will wait for a yes or no or untill tonite. coast2coast-2nd in line turp mcspray-3rd in line. As said...these were bought specifically for a 1970 402 BB 70C10 with auto and ac. I puchased these directly from the Thorely headers store.

Ok..I messed up...
I believe 1972SuperCheyenne responed "Looks like they'll hang down too low for me. I'll have to pass. Great price on a sweet set of headers though. Thanks anyway" Once I verify this then.... coast2coast you have next dibs. turp mcspray...your in line after coast2coast... Selling parts os causing me to loose more of my hair.
