Hooker Ceramic Coated Aero Chamber Mufflers
I was checking Summits availability on Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers and they are now listing a ceramic coated model available around 4-15-03, for about $106 each. Anybody hear anything further about this?

dont know
only if you have a show truck the exhaust dont get hot enough
back there to need it...coating on headers is most of all to cut down heat in the engine compartment 2nd to stop rust 3rd looks good MARK |

I went on Jegs and the NON coated aerochambers were $57.99 unless you get the model specific (why?) which are $79.99. It seams like they don't carry the coated ones.

Here is a mp3 sound file of a Hooker Aero Chamber on a Mustang.
http://www.mustangexhaust.com/sounds...ro%20dumps.mp3 Price increases on Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers, like everything else increase as steel prices go up. I think Flowmaster is now making stainless steel versions of their 40 & 50 series, and of course with prices in the +$100 price range.

Eric: You must not have current catalogs or current prices are not listed, but both Jegs & Summit online shows $57.95 for 4.75"X10.25" 3" in/out muffler.
