Tire pics requested
I have a buddy that owns a tire shop and is gonna give me a smokin deal on a set of tires he's had for a while he needs to get rid of. The size is 255/70R15. If you are running this size tire with factory ride height or maybe a 2/4 drop please post pics. I have either 8 or 10 inch wide rally wheels on my 68. Right now the truck has 31x10.50-15's on it. I want something less of a truck tire.

Re: Tire pics requested
Scott, I meant to post the info for my tires but my internet failed last night...
The tires on my '69 are Bridgestone Dueler APTII P235/75R15 105S. Sorry I don't have any better shots, let me know if you want me to get some this weekend.

Re: Tire pics requested
Those pics work Nate, thanks. I think the 255 70 15's ought to fill the wheelwell up nicely and still leave room for maybe a 2/4 drop.

Re: Tire pics requested
Mine are 255/70-15. I cut 1 complete coil off the front springs that lowered it about 2". Extended shackles on the rear and removed the overload spring for about the same amount of drop

Re: Tire pics requested
Thanks Geoff. Maybe we should start a thread where people post pics of their tire size/drop combo or just pics of tires with no drop and give the specs so people like me can look it up instead of searching threads for days to get an idea of what our trucks would look like with a specific sized tire.

This is my 72. It has 255-60-15 on the front and 275-60-15 on rear. It is at factory height.

Re: Tire pics requested
The 255/70/15 is probably the best size for a stock height to mildly dropped truck. I'm still looking for a tire with the height of the 255/70 with the width of the 275/60. I haven't found it yet.
