Ecklers

Anyone had good/bad experience with Ecklers? I'm thinking of buying some sheet metal, as they have some discounts for this weekend. I know ECE rocks, how does Ecklers compare?

Thanks,

Re: Ecklers

I'd buy from a truck board vendor and let Eckler's stick with something they know about ... corvettes.

Re: Ecklers

Thanks for the link to the vendor list and the quick reply... i guess they would only be good if i were building a C10 with the corvette option...

Re: Ecklers

Eklers,Harmons, and many others are Johnny-Come-Lately truck parts vendors who smelled a buck once trucks became even more popular than earlier and they`ll take a few extra bucks for their trouble, too. They`re like LMC or any other catalog pushin`wide-base marketer hoping to find suckers who know no better,IMO.I looked at their prices when a catalog showed up.My reaction:"Who are they?",saw a few prices, recycle bin.

Re: Ecklers

They're actually not Johnny-come-lately's at all. I've bought Corvette parts from them for many years. And, they are an actual brick and mortar Chevy Dealership in Florida (also, have been for many years.)
They have pretty decent customer service. Shipping time is about average.
I've never bought truck parts from them, but that's not to say I wouldn't.

Re: Ecklers

I meant johnny-come-lately to trucks parts mail order. They`ve done old Vettes for years. But they charge Vette prices, too.Harmon`s always sold Chevelle parts for years, too, and are just hopping the truck band wagon.I just buy from the ones who are truck people in business for trucks because they love trucks like I do.

Re: Ecklers

I've bought a ton of parts from them for my '56 Chevy sedan. I've never had any issues with them. One thing you do have to watch out for is alot of their parts are made in China.
