Re: Check on cab for me?

Well after further looking, he has a ton of stuff in Denver and it's all very reasonably priced. Does anyone on the board know this guy and is he a member here? His name is PJ.

I would think that for that price, you can not really go wrong.

Re: Check on cab for me?

Unless you have a rig that gets fantastic gas mileage the trip to go get it will take almost 400 bucks worth of gas and two long days of driving.
Sometimes these bargains may not be such bargains in the end.
But then a road trip across Kansas in the spring may not be too bad.

Looks like it would be worth the trip to get it. Otsenre( hope i spelled name right) lives up around there. Ask Robert if the truck is up for a road trip. Tell him he needs to break the motor in on a good road trip. You guys could stop for a breather, Robert's been here before. Would definitely a two day trip, but could be fun.

Re: Check on cab for me? Denver, Co area

I'm not sure I'd want to pay for the gas in Robert's truck now that the motor has been rebuilt . Think I could strap the cab onto the top of the Alero?

It's about a 12 hour trip from where I'm at. I've been to Denver several times before my grandparents died. They lived north of Denver in Loveland.

For the stuff this guy has and the prices he's asking for it, I think it would be worth the trip for sure. If you search his phone number in Denver Craigslist about 10 ads come up all with great prices.

P.S. Thanks Fine69!

I did call the guy last night but didn't get an answer so I left a message. I'll let you guys know what's going on. If he can take more pics and hold it for me for a little bit I might make the trip.

Re: Check on cab for me? Denver, Co area

I have seen the cab and many other of PJ's parts he has. They all come from the the dry air of southern Colorado and are in very good condition. He also has a wood floor 67 bed that is in great shape sans the wood that he only wants $ 700.00 for. Most of his stuff that he has is 1968 vintage with a few parts/trucks from other years. I know PJ very well and if you want specific info, PM me and we can talk.
