Well, over Memorial Day weekend, my wife wanted to go to Lowes to get a few things for the back yard. I failed to ask what the "few" items were.
The pictures are a little deceiving as below the bags of mulch and dirt are 8 - 12"x12" cement stepping blocks and one 24"x24" block. also there are some metal edging that was longer than the bed. Luckily my wife brought along an old comforter - I thought she was just being extra careful to protect the truck from the "few" things she needed and thought it was a sweet gesture, but without it, the edging would have scratched the crap out of my tailgate. The best part was the look on the Lowes employee's face who helped me load the cement blocks - he asked me 2 or 3 times if I really wanted to load it into the truck. ![]() ![]() ![]() It only droped the rear by 1-1.5" and handled it well. I don't know how much it weighed but I know I could hardly push the cart it was on.... |

That would be cool Strodder. We thought about getting an airstream when our pop-up weares out but way to much $$$$$ and I'm not feelin the fix up a camper thing. But who knows.

This is my stock 62 3/4t. It has a 283v8 2b, 4sp,4:11. It has now over 300k
on it. Motor rebuilt 1 time and repainted. It has 500lb overload springs and overload shocks. It can haul about 10,000lbs befor it sits on axel. That is a 18 foot trailor with elect brakes. ![]() |
