73 3/4 4x4 4inch lift springs on 72 k20?

I know a guy who has 4 inch lift springs for a 73 3/4 4x4. He said that they might fit on my 72 k20, i haven't seen them yet but was wanting to know if they might fit?

They are longer, but I`ve heard they work.I think you may need longer shackles or at least the shackles will be rocked to the max.I`d suggest moving the mounting.

Re: 73 3/4 4x4 4inch lift springs on 72 k20?

My 70 K5 had 73-87 front springs on it when I bought it and the put the spring within about 1/4" of the frame, hit a bump and it would surely hit the frame. A longer shackle could help but would have to worry about if that would throw of your axle specs.

Best bet would be to move the rear shackle like special-K mentions or get the correct springs.

I personally like Procomp. They tend to have a softer ride. Over all you can't go wrong with any of the major brands on the 4" kit.

I found a rough country 4in lift for $340 with the front springs shocks and blocks in the rear. Sounds reasonable to me but i really wouldn't know???
