Headlights don't work!

I have a 68 Chevy C-10 that both headlights arn't working, but the parking lights and the taillights are lighting up. I have not checked the bulbs, but just have a feeling that there is more to the problem since neither headlight is coming on. Are they on a separate breaker/fuse, or maybe on a seperate circuit. Any help you all can give me would be appreciated.

Moving this over to the pickup forum from the suburban forum. Maybe you will get more input.

Second on the dimmer switch. If it goes out you will not have lights.

Re: Headlights don't work!

You can lift the floor mat up and take a test light to check the dimmer switch with a test light use it to make sure you are getting power in with the light switch on and then check one side and the other.

I've found that the stock plugs on the back of the headlights don't like high powered halogens nor do the dimmer switches.
