I found a possible disc brake setup
They supposedly came from a '72 chevy truck.
Could these be reconditioned and put into my '70? Is it worth the effort? If so what else would I need to make it all work?

Sure, it's a common swap. Get that sway bar too. Even if your truck already has one, it's good trade fodder. If not, put it on your truck.

im doing it right now....for me ima newb its not hard but very time consuming if the truck your working on is your dd and nobody will take you to town for new balljoints and parts you neeed lol
you got it easy the body motor is gone lol

get the whole front crossmember, draglink, tie rods , sway bar etc. remove 14 bolts and slide it out, take a couple buddies with ya.... I did that swap on my sons '67
