So I got approached at the gas station tonight...

Guy walked up and said nice military spec 67.

I said well its a 67 but its not military spec. and he said yes it is, it has a small back window all the military trucks were made with small back windows.

I said I am not sure about the military part but all 67's came with the small back window except the ones with the option of the big( panoramic)back window.

Have any of you guys been told that before? Any truth to it?

BTW I have a 67 c/10 GMC
Thanks

Andy nailed it.I just felt like posting, too.

It`s like this...you are absolutely correct. He is correct with a twist.Although "all" `67 small windows are not military-spec,all military-spec `67s are small windows. It`s an example of how perspective fails some folks. From his point of view it`s true.I`ll bet a cheeseburger the guy was a lifer.

At least he did not tell you about how "his father had one just like it or he had one when he was young" that is what I hear the most...
Wilson, did you tell him that it had military miami heads?

I always heard that 'X' is a mathematical notation for the unknown, and a 'spurt' is a drip under pressure... an expert then...

Mine has a large back window, step side etc. This little thing here, makes me think it was "military spec".

Maybe not?

Heck dang near all trucks prior to 67 were the small window (unless optioned out), because you didn't need one really at all, you had your hay, cows, or other crap blocking the window anyways.

That military-spec has the small front window.Maybe he`s right.

I guess all small windows are CUCVs.

I like that X-spurt definition better.

Re: So I got approached at the gas station tonight...

That's so cool, I never knew I had a military spec 67!

Where can I get one of these? Traffic around here really pisses me off at times, this would really help me out...

(CG, you got some mad skillz man! That looks cool!)
